Good for you, Wanda!!! Great attitude! When I was married the first time, I never put gas in my car. The XH did it. He took care of the cars, bills, house, everything. When he left, it was shocking in a lot of ways. But I learned to take care of myself, learned to live without him, learned to love living on my own and being self-sufficient. My self-esteem was never higher. Learn, learn, learn and when / if they return, we're all the better for growing and learning. Otherwise, all this pain is for nothing if we learn nothing.
