Mj - It's tough for me to give you legal advice without being able to really talk to you about it. You can definitely go to the Denver courthouse and request a temporary protection order. You fill out an affidavit, a judge reviews it, and either grants it or denies it. I'm pretty confident, but can't guarantee obviously, that a judge would grant it if he threatened to hurt you or kill you.
