About your sink, it's the grease trap that's giving you issues. It's a separate little trap from your septic system. If you call the septic system, they should be able to come out and clean it for you at a reasonable price. Now, the question is this, do you know where it's located in the yard? It's generally not in the same area as the septic tank.
Hope your are able to get someone out there to repair your furnace for you.

I am doing a total 180 this morning...something that in the past I would have said no to. One of my regular clients passed away. The family requested that I do her hair. I didn't even do my own mother's hair...I just couldn't. I am going to do it this morning. I was caught off guard when they called and said yes. Will be an experience!

Ok...furnace..I am sick! $315! The service call is $89 flat rate. He replaced a plastic piece that somehow got too hot and the threads melted. He couldn't figure out why but everything checks out ok otherwise. The plastic piece has to do with the air exchanger...anyway, it is fixed. I hope that H will at least pay for half!
I survived doing my deceased ladies hair....I cannot describe how weird it was. The mortician stayed with me for a little bit and then asked if I'd be ok and left. When he came back to check on me...I was spraying hairspray like crazy and he kinda laughed and said "it's not like she is going to be out in the wind!"

CW, I'm sorry to hear that the bill was so expensive, but at least you will now have heat and know that the furnace is okay.
OMG, I don't know if I could have done her hair! That had to have been strange, but at least she can't complain if it's not done in her usual style. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

I feel your pain. Service Call just to come to house by Spa people was $75.00 BEFORE the motor was ordered and they made another trip.

Called H to report about the furnace and asked if he could help with the bill. He seemed surprised that I asked. Asked me to give him a couple of weeks and he might be able to come up with $100...woo hoo.
Obviously, in his mind, repairs to the house are no longer his responsibility!

CW - my furnace just died...what's going on? So yeah the repair guy was here for an hour today - service call #1 bypassed something so I have heat over the weekend and on Monday he is coming back with the needed part that will be a Service call #2. The part - a circuit board is about $300 on the top of service....just great.
