Sounds like you handled well to me. I completely understand how difficult is to keep communication to things like "hope you are doing well" rather than "I miss you more every day" or "please give me another chance!". Trust me. I understand this very well What Next. You are not alone.

She already has filed it has been two months the divorce is close to final.

Okay, so do you miss your home? Then move back. You've got to show that you're passionate about SOMETHING. Right now it's like you've rolled over and said that's okay honey, walk all over me because I love you.

For all you know there could be another guy living there now. You don't have to be rude about it, you could just say that you had a change of heart and miss your home. Be careful not to say her. Just that you miss your home.

I think that in the divorce filing there was something about her staying in the home and me moving out. So, legally I'm pretty sure that I can't go home. I'm going to Houston on Monday for 2 weeks anyway and by the time I get back I expect the divorce to be final (just waiting for me to sign off)

That's why you seek legal counsel to look over the paperwork. I can't stress it enough that if a WAS is unhappy, then they should move out and not the LBS.
