Could you please? I've been told that the parts are backordered because they have had a lot of problems with this model and it could be another 6-8 weeks before I hear anything.

Today Cancer doctor came to see my Dad and Dad began asking questions and the doctor gave him straight answers. My brother was there visiting before work and after the doctor had left, had to explain to Dad what the doctor had said. Poor brother. He had to tell Dad that he was not coming home ever, not even for a visit. He had to explain that when the food was not helping him anymore then it would be discontinued. Dad asked "what will they give me them?" Brother had to say "nothing, they will just make you comfortable" OMG, and then he had to go to work. He sat with Dad for about an hour and naturally Dad was quite upset at these latest answers to his questions. By the time brother had to leave Dad had calmed down and his Minister had arrived. I spoke with Dad this afternoon, not knowing that this news had been dropped on him. He said "nothing new around here, same as when I saw you yesterday" he had guests and was apparently entertaining them with his Spanish skills (of which he has none of). Tonight I'm supposed to go out and celebrate D17's birthday and really I just want to sit and cry, which I probably will do for a bit before I go pick everybody up. Also yesterday I was informed that a friends sister has gone missing. She left for work Tuesday morning and her family has not seen or heard from her since. This friend is also dealing with a similar sitch to mine with her Dad. Prayers are called for all round I'd say! Well, that's my cheery update.
