Btw, speaking of kindness, my mom is now visiting my Dad's ex-roomate who was moved out of the room to another floor two days ago. This elderly man's wife can only visit every two days so mom is going to look in on him on the day she can't make it. Dad's dying and Mom still has the kindness to look in on someone else like that. She's pretty darn amazing too. That little act of kindness may be huge to that 82 year old man, who knows.
