Any advice on the dogs? Should I just continue to take care of "his" dog and not say anything else to him about it and just take them both when I leave on the 7th?

I probably should call my atty tomorrow and see what he says. If I am the one taking care of the dog then he should be mine. He shouldn't just get to neglect his responsbility and expect me to do it for him.
