((((Aver)))), Thanks. Yes it was weird, and I think it will be better, down the road. We are not quite done with the money stuff though. And this is mostly b/c I have to drive it. But it's getting there. My L said she'd make sure he does everything the D says he's supposed to.
He was calm, and very chatty, letting me know he got a new job 2 1/2 mos. ago for much better money. And he's thinking about getting a new job. I asked him about his parents, & got an update, & I was glad to hear they seem to be doing well. He did not ask @ me or my family, but just liked to talk @ his new job. It was very weird, like talking to someone you used to know a long time ago like at a high school reunion.
Met my sister & a friend afterward, it was a sorrowful day, despite my best intentions, and an exhausting one. I did not go into work, & took a 6 hr. nap afterward.
Anyway, having this in the midst of holdiays I haven't really had time to process, for good or bad. I can't control it, only my own behavior. Trying hard to remember that, plus all the good advice I've been given.
