BM, they now censor the word "s*cks"! Just got back from the hospital, I've been with Dad and Mom since 1 pm. The rest of the family arrived for the meeting with the surgeon. Basically, at this point Dad has to decide about Chemo but may add time to his life or it may not. Doctor said that if Dad tried it and the side effects were too severe he could stop it. We told Dad that we would support whatever he wanted. When I arrived this afternoon, we hugged and cried and Dad told me he was going to fight this all the way, he wasn't going to give up. He said he wasn't going to let his family down. He still had his sense of humour, he said "I don't remember any cancer in the family but the good gene must have dropped the ball and the bad gene got through, he's off my team!" When we left he was saying "I'm not giving up, I'll fight this with everything I've got" That's my Dad.
