One caution about Retrouvaille from personal experience. If your spouse cannot talk the language of feelings, or cannot get in touch with what he is feeling beyond anger (usually it's buried quite deeply), he will find Retrouvailled extremely frustrating and Retrouvaille could be counterproductive in that case.
