S18 loves Germany too but has only been there as a toddler!! He is only on his 3rd semester of German but studies so much on his own that he is at a much higher level.(they told me at the beginning of the year he was at least at the 4th year level!!) He loves the language, even though I found it hard when I was in jr high and had a heck of a time getting out of it.

I want just a bit of snow on Christmas and then it can stay away. then the holiday will be perfect.
