Man, I wish I could! Half my office is taking time off around then though. I don't even want to talk about money lol.

Sounds amazing though!

The biggest deal is airfare. Last time there was an apartment at my sisters that they rent out to guests. It is really pretty cheap. I stayed with her which helps lot and then I usually buy groceries, make dinner to help off set my being there expense. So it can be done. I'll have to do an inn if possible while in Germany since I didn't do a great job of keeping in touch with my German friends. If I waited until May, the airfare would double since it is high season.

I am so excited to! So cool to be able to share this with someone that really wants to go.

Ex rewrote our trips there and said he never had any desire to go there. It was all a waste. Well, he never had to go. Going to make some fun memories with my kids as I plan to do something similiar with each one. the world is getting smaller all the time. Better for them to understand now how we are all connected.

My S 15 has "going to Germany" on his bucket list.

He wants to go to a concentration camp. I gave him "Man's Search For Meaning" and he read it for AR points at school. One of my all-time favorite books. Terrible, yet, wonderful at the same time.

Ever been inside a concentration camp?

No, but strangely I want to go to one. I have a "facination with Anne Frank. I have been to Amsterdam to the "house
" where she hid. I read her diary of course but also a book about one of the men that helped hide her and the families. there was also a book about people that met her over the past 6 monthes of her life.

I am currently reading "Five chimneys", a book about Auschwitz. So you don't think I only like sad things, I also am a huge fan of Helen Keller and Amelia Earhart. I have been to both of their birth houses. Those are three women that I have a lot of admiration for. They all faced huge obstacles and prevailed.

I have always been a bit of the odd girl out and felt different than my peers. funny sometimes even now...

I get them Christmas eve. The ex and I went in together to get the girls their dolls so he will be over Christmas morning and we will watch them open those . I will have them New Years Eve and day. I will stlill have the boys even while he has the girls for 5 days.

S18 has to work all day inthe 24th so we are having dinner here with my parents and open presents with them on the 23rd. Then they can open presents from me on the 24th. Will be fun to spread it out a bit. With the holiday I added some vacation time so I will have 6 days off together.

Hope it is good for you Romeo, what do you have planned?
