Plus, she is 10!!! 10 year old girls are hormone factories!!! I remember when I was 10 I was in constant drama mode. Every little, tiny perceived slight or sideways look sent me reeling and made me cry hysterically.

Me too...but I think it was at 50 when that hit!

She said last night she just needed to get it out. She told me that she didn't want to go (probably the reason she didn't say anything) but realized that she probably needed to.

I imagine part of it is the beginning of puberty, drama queen time.

Just wondering...would any of you take your kids traveling while they have strep? Maybe I am being judgemental due to who it is, but I am thinking this girl doesn't have half a brain!!

Poor Kat! Sounds like you and D both had a rough night.

As for the strep, that seems wrong for a few reasons. If they haven't been on antibiotics at least a few days, they're still contagious. Plus, who wants to drag a sick whiny child anywhere but bed?

K's complicated cupcake brought them back to Mo sometime this week for a visit with strep. His daughter is putting on a concert tonight. Seems pretty selfish and thoughtless to me. Boy I am judgemental when it comes to her!

I'll laugh hysterically (as I'm sure you will) if his daughter gets strep, or better yet, him!

Couldn't happen to a nicer person though!

Strep is nothing to be messed with an she most certainly shouldn't have been exposed to anyone else like that. It's irresponsible at best and downright mistreatment at worst.

I would think she would have to get a job sometime soon unless she wants to keep living off or her parents and then him back and forth. I also wonder about school. Isn't someone going to care when her oldest is missing so much?

I don't see any stability with her and maybe it isn't something guys look for. But I just refigured 5 moves and 4 jobs in two years. None lasting more than a 6 month period.

She keeps mentioning how she has to think of her kids but I just don't see her putting them first at all. Really immature when you get down to it.

Yes it would be very funny if they all came down with strep right after she went back to NC. smile

What guys see in her is that she wants to be rescued. She plays the damsel in distress well. Course, that's not so romantic after a few months, but I guess in the short-term it appeals to their protective instincts.

At least it's free entertainment for the rest of us!
