Last night I went to the Presbyterian church for a prayer meeting. Actually, it was bible study and prayer meeting. The Pastor took us through some passages from Mathew and we discussed the symbolism. The other four group members were very nice and welcoming, also really old! Next week we're having apple cider and mince meat tarts. I can't attend this church on Sunday this week but will go the next Sunday and check out their morning services. So Being Me, how come you didn't become a Bahai? They believe God sends prophets at different times to highlight specific messages and Jesus is considered one of them. They believe that Bahaullah was the last prophet but there will be others. It's an interesting faith which appears quite liberal but is actually rather conservative in the fact that they oppose sex outside of marriage, alcohol use (if I recall), homosexuality etc. They're OK with marrying outside the faith though. Anyway, just a thought.
