Wasn't that sad about Mark Daily??? He was the voice of Toronto. I met him on a plane to Fort Lauderdale last May. He and his wife and daughter were sitting directly behind my daughter and I. When he spoke - I thought I had the tv on. I told him how much I loved his voice and he told me it had served him well. He was very nice and ended up on my plane for the return flight a week later as well.
Mark was a brave man to let all his tv viewers go through his prostate cancer treatments with him. It educated many people and I will guarantee - saved a few lives too. To hear that his cancer returned recently in his kidneys and lungs then to lose him at only 57 is pure tragedy. I am glad to have had the opportunity to let him know while he was alive how much I admired him.
OK, now back to what the DB board is all about...finding a church. So, I've put some serious thought into this and visited a number of churches of different denominations. So, I've decided that the church I will go to...is the one with the best looking babes.

You guys are both a mess.
And yes, I believe JC would respond in Aramic as well.

Agreed Sol, we are both broken people! And Barb, it sure is a loss to Toronto. Mark Dailey was just way too young. Hey, what about that Bozo Don Cherry and his flowery pink suit introducing the Mayor of Toronto by criticizing bicyclists in the city, the start of a new era of clowns running the city. Cherry doesn't even live here!
My son rides his bike to work downtown almost daily. He has been hit by drivers and car doors. He is the most law abiding cyclist ever yet last month he was pulled over and given a ticket by a Police woman for not having a light on his bike. UGH - wish they had better things to do with their time. he can barely afford to live in the city let alone pay them for a ridicilous ticket.
And don't get me started on parking in Toronto. I used to pay a daily fine of $32 when I stayed at Josh's as there was no place for me to park. Now we pay for a parking permit which is about half that price. Still - in Niagara - he parks in my driveway - no charge even if he left his car on the street. RIDICULOUS!
^ Toronto sounds COLD. I only say this because I am on the East coast of the states and it is FREEZING right now so I can only imagine it's freezing there right now!
Sometimes the U.S. is much colder than Canada. Depends where you live I guess. Here in Southern Ontario we have been blessed with really warm weather right up until about a week ago. Yes - it's cold today but the sun is lovely.
Glad I'm going where it SHOULD be warmer. Who knows? My friends in Orlando woke up to 28F the other morning. I think it was warmer here.
