Feeling in a different mood and felt like a new thread before they locked my thread up.
So things are going pretty well. Just a lighter and happier feeling is the best way to describe it. It isn't even the Karma mentioned in my last thread, though that makes me feel good to know that she does exist. I don't wish bad things to happen to anyone but I guess just for them to realize what hurt they have caused to others by their actions. No one gets a free pass it seems.
So if lessons are learned, than all is good.

My 10 year old is very bright but as far as common sense, dressing herself...let's just say those things are not high priority. Over the years she has done the sweetest, cutes things and says things which just seem to nail on the head. Her name is Elena and so we have named these stories Elenaisms.
This morning she comes out to me and says, "Mommy, the milk won't go in the bowl." me: For your cereal? Elena: yes. me: Well, if it isn't going in the bowl, where is it going? Elena: Well everywhere else. the counter, the floor. I have to keep cleaning it up because it refuses to go in the bowl. me: well let's go have a chat with the milk and I will see if I can get it to go in the bowl for you. A few minutes later the milk is in the bowl with her cereal. Elena: gee Mommy, what did you say? Me: get in the bowl!!

Kat, that is awesome you are feeling better -- what was the deal with the karma? Something about their R busting up or something? How long were they together?
I am all for FULL hot chocolate myself! Not any of that fat-free stuff, ladies!

My former high school boyfriend, K, came back into my life last fall. There were still lots of sparks there. Anyway, last spring found out a girl(29) who knew him from her college days was bringing her 2 kids on vacation with his family. His family had kind of been like asupport family when she was in college.
Anywho, right after wham bam, he moves her and her kids half way across country to live with him and his kids. They actually lived together about 4 months. She moved her and her boys back to NC in November. She had never changed anything on her FB info, so she stayed single, living and working in NC, etc.
Anyhow, K changed his status a full month later to "It's comlpicated". His sister says that she changed her status to single so it maybe more complicated than you think. Duh, she never changed it. Anyhow, she had changed jobs 4 times in the past two years, moved 4 times as well in the same time period. He leapt without really knowing her. Never dated her, just fell into fantasy land and now it is all falling apart. Karma.

Oh and to clarify, I backed off the situation when I saw she was going on vacation with them. Even if there wasn't anything there, I wasn't ready to sweat all that out.
