So my W and my son and her family spent Thanksgiving together. She ended up coming over the night before and we started prepping for the next day. She spent the night(spare bedroom) and the next day we had a nice time.
She had made several comments on how nice the house looked and how helpful I was with dinner. These are things I definately had taken for granted in the past. Times like these I wonder how my W actually did it in the past with cleaning, cooking, child, etc.....
These past 8 months have been a real eye opener for me. Anyway, we are communciating better and who knows where this will take us. Still a bunch to work on but I think the both of us are getting back to respecting and appreciating each other.
There is hope!!!
