Today I spent the morning working on cleaning and organizing and then headed up shopping, with a massage scheduled for late afternoon. Yay me!
While I was out hockeyguy (HG) texted me asking how the shopping was going. After a few texts he suggested we meet for wings later on if I was still in the Omaha metro by that time (he had to work today). So, I told him I would be up there a few more hours bc I had a massage booked for later. He said if I was interested in getting together to call after my massage. Rules, shmules, I decided to go because he gets his kids Saturday and then we are on opposite kid schedules for a couple weeks...
Here is the funny part--I thought it was half dorky, half genius. I was wearing cute jeans but a random comfy sweater since I wasn't planning on going out. So, I ducked into a department store, tried on some tops, bought one, and then browsed the cosmetics area. Helped myself to the makeup testers and the perfume samples as well. Quick solution when you don't have time to go home first!
So I met him at BWW, he greeted me with a hug. We had some wings and talked while watching Oregon kick butt in football. I think we may have annoyed the waitress because we sat there talking for 3 1/2 hours. He walked me to my car again and gave me a hug goodnight. I had a really nice time.
Then I went back to shopping! Got my daughter a new bedding set, some legos for Nathan, and shut down Target. After that I hit the one Starbucks in Omaha that's open till midnight, then shut down Kohls... Productive day!
As it is nearing two a.m., I should probably get to wrapping the stuff I bought...
