I just got home from shopping. Looong day! Kids had appts with the dermatologist at 2 so we left school early. Sydney had to have beetle juice (literally although it has a medical name too) put on her spots on her leg. Poor kid. Supposed to blister them up and then they fall off after two weeks. One was already bleeding just from me washing off the medicine (you have to take it off within an hour because it is very strong/corrosive)... However she is with her dad tonight so he will have to handle it.
Then I took kids and weighed in--down one pound but according to my trainer there was a six pound shift from fat mass to lean mass so I guess it was a good week. He was happy anyway.
After that we went scoping out gift ideas until Dan got off work and he got the kids. I was going to go home but decided screw it, why wait till the day after Thanksgiving? So I went and got a bunch of the kids' Christmas stuff tonight. Even if I spent a little more money I saved myself the hassle of dealing with the crowds on Friday...
