It is definitely a struggle. But it what must be done. God never said our way and His way were the same. But His way is the best way. And I want the best marriage. So it has to be by Him. Read the book of Job in the Bible, or the story of Solomon. 2 completely different men, but both with good lessons to learn. Job was more blessed in the latter half of his life than he had been before Satan was allowed to strike him. Solomon screwed up his life on his own, by ignoring God, and it cost his heirs the kingdom. Everything is for His glory. I praise Him, now and forever. And when He restores my marriage, I will not have done anything right but to have leaned on Him. That is all He asks of us, "Put on the armor of God and stand." I will stand. My wife asked me if I live to be 88 and my prayers aren't answered, what would happen to my faith. It will not waiver. I won't let it. God has a plan for me and He's not finished with me yet.
