Uh, that's exactly what a reformed alcoholic does not need! But a nice Chamomile Tea might do the trick.
Well, I almost made it through the week! At noon my coughing body said "this is it, we're going home!" I phoned my doctors office and had a wonderful conversation with a woman who spoke this much English "doctor L. on vacation" I asked whether the other doctor was available and she replied "doctor L. on vacation", finally I gave up and a co-worker directed me to a walk in clinic. I arrived there and went up to the fourth floor to be informed that the Walk In doctor wasn't in today. I was directed to another clinic across the street where I waited, and coughed, for 1.5 hours. Finally, I was given anti-biotics and a puffer but couldn't have cough medicine because "we don't prescribe narcotics" WTF! So this weekend will be rest (and I scored some left over cough medicine from STBX who stashes her left overs). Wow, I really thought I was gonna get through this little bug with no time off work...so much for little miracles!
Bummer about the cough, try some chicken noodle soup and Nyquil this weekend- and rest.

I actually HAVE to rest! I was planning to go to church tonight to see the African Children's Choir, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jXxnr-FzQU) which is visiting. No such luck. I'd invited a friend and her kids and my parents too. Oh well, no sense spreading this bug around.
