Thank you again InAPickle & dbmod ~~ I am going to the library to find some books & read, read, read this weekend!!! H called a bit ago & said there was no rush to pick up my dog today -- I told him I would be there later this afternoon to pick her up -- he asked if I was going to stay in town (our home)or make the drive back to the city. I said I was going to drive back up here after picking her (Pepper) up -- he then told me that I could stay there tonight so I didn't have to make the drive & I said No I am picking her up & driving back tonight; he said that he was worried I would fall asleep or have an accident & I told him I would be fine (although it is raining & it will be dark by the time I start back)... I told him I had to get off the phone -- he got quite & then said "I love you"; I said I love you too & hung up!! Not 5 minutes later he called asking if I could pick up the other dog's thyroid medicine -- I said Yes I will do that -- he said that he & Sable (dog) appreciated it very much. Again, I said I had to get off the phone & to have a good day, said bye & hung up... It was hard to turn down the invite to stay for the night & it was hard to not keep talking to him on the phone but I did the right thing, right?1?!
