Positively moving forward

Calm week...but BORING! Finals this week so it has been a lot of me not doing anything, although I have prepared for next trimester. My only two complaints and stress is my car (two days this week taking 10 minutes to get started) and my students. As I posted before, I gave everyone a chance to make it, but many students did not take the opportunity and also some I said they had to pass the final (60 out of 100), but they just joked and did nothing during the day to review, and then they have the nerve to blame me...URGH!!!!! It frustrates me that I give the students all these opportunities and they just wait until the last minute and still blame me if they fail. Oh well...I will just have them again next year.

Tonight I am raking leaves again. The tree in my backyard is still full of leaves. Maples take forever to lose their leaves, but I still have tons on teh ground. I also have my older nephews so S is excited to jump in the leaves with them and do a few other things. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain so I will clean the house and maybe we will go to the mall to walk around. Sunday is church. NExt week is a full week, but will hopefully go fast being the first week of the new trimester and then only 2 days the week after.

I am excited how I got the Thanksgiving turkey for $8 so all I have left to get is some of the fresh stuff like apples (making a apple roasted turkey), sweet potatoes, another vegetable for the turkey which I don't remember, and pumpkin and baking apples for the two pies I am making (apple and pumpkin). Friday I will be shopping, after Thanksgiving for some awesome deals although I am almost done. Then Saturday is christmas decorating day...unless both teams make it to state then I will be in Indy for the state games from Friday to Saturday.
