Actually, I have been trying to get my car fixed for 2 months now. I have called the dealer and also GM itself and GM said that it can't be fixed until the recall is "official". It is a huge mess, but I have spent many hours on the phone trying to get this fixed. GM says they do not have the part to fix the problem yet so if I get it fixed I will have to pay out of pocket and since the recall is dealing with the engine...well I don't have the money to pay out of pocket for an engine rebuilt. So I wait...just like GM told me to do.
