Positively moving forward

I was told that is was time to start a new thread so there it is. I don't really have much to comment on. Things right now are calm.

Finals for my students start tomorrow. I will have a lot of students who fail. I am trying to think of inventive ways to help that become lower, but even though all but 6 could have gotten to passing by doing some in class extra credit and writing down some vocab to use on a test, many didn't do any of it and a test that most should get a high C on, many got a 2 because they never looked up the vocab. What else can I do? I am not sure, but I will think about it. One thing is teaching teh math for physics differently now knowing how the math department does not teach story problems.

With H, nothing to report. We exchange texts about S and that is it. Peaceful coparenting.

I did ask H about the car because yesterday I spent 10 minutes trying to get it to start. I need to get it fixed, but am waiting on teh recall letter. HOpefull it comes sometime next week. NExt week starts a new tri and then I have two days and a 5 day weekend for Thanksgiving. I will bedecorating for Christmas, and hosting the Thanksgiving for my family. I also may be going to the state football championship games if the shcool I teach at and my ammater both make it. Fun stuff!
