Boy was I not feeling too good when I wrote that! Feel a bit better this morning. The kittens have been a nice surprise to me. I really am a dog person but I love lap cats. I am also glad I said yes to two. They rough house with each other and I am constantly reminding the kids that they are not the cats toy. They can play with the kittens using a toy but they aren't supposed to be teaching them to nibble and scratch at them!!
Yes cats get more independent which is fine but come curl up with me now and then. Don't ignore me completely.
So my goals over the next two weeks while still trying to feel better: celebrate D11/12's birthday, work a bit on the house each day so I won't have a mad rush of cleaning right before Thanksgiving, go see Harry Potter and get well.
