Well after successfully DBing 3 years ago, i am back. The thing that is different now, we have a 20 month old son now. Very sad, as i have waited this long to have a child, in the hopes i have my act together, so he would not have to endure what i did as a child.
Weird thing, is this has happened every 3 years almost to the month. Once we reconciled the last time, i asked her to promise me, if it got bad again, grab me by the hands, sit me down, and tell me its bad again. That did not happen. After an argument about dishes, i had to call 911 because she attacked me. Of course this probably was not the deal breaking arguement, but im sure stuff has been building up over time once again. I know some are saying i am jumping the gun, but i immediately listed the house, because last time she refuesed to help out with any of the bills and i ended up seeling off everything i owned. Im not going to do that again, as i now have a son i need to take care of. Again she left and went to her parents home. Im on the fence this time as i do not want this happening in another 3 years causing the children so much instability and pain. I do lover her and have no desire to be with anyone else. But it is getting really old. Just focusing on myself and being the best father i can be. I successfully DB'd last time, so i can offer what i know here. You can look up my old sitch if youd like, please feel free to comment or ask any questions.

In that case, I would suggest you not play around--and immediately drop the rope.

It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!

Have a happy life without her while she is gone.

If the situation changes, let us know.

Have a happy life while she is gone doesn't sound positive?

Huh.

Get out of the house, establish a fitness routine if you don't have one, good nutrition, good sleep, and so on.

Go visit friends and family and have some fun for right now.

So she asked me to go trick or treating with her and the baby. When i dropped him off, we got him dressed and started to walk. So she then says, i know you are not going to like this and it will be hard to take, but my pastor has been talking about forgiveness, and i have asked God to forgive me for marrying you. The marriage wasnt ordained by God, it was a convenience thing, i was a single mom, you had a great job and a nice home. I didnt say anything, just kept walking and smiling, then she asked how i felt about that, i said i am sorry you feel that way, but i disagree, our son wasnt conceived out of convenience. So we kept walking and trick or treating, then she says, you know there is absolutely no chance for reconciliation this time. I again didnt say anything and left it at that. Said goodbye to my son and went home, of course no sleep since that hurt alot. We went to mediation yesterday, concerning visitation. While we were waiting on the printouts, she started bout the mortgage. I told her i could not pay it this month, and she said you need to get a second job, and very angrily she says, how much child support did you give me last month, we have only been seperated for 3 weeks. I said i dont know what you want me to do, i cant even pay the mortgage, you are living with your folks for free, and still have income, then she says, then you explain to your son, why he cant eat. I didnt argue, just sat and prayed to myself that it would be ok.........

So what are the caveats with dropping the rope with children involved?
