Last night at bday dinner for our son and WAW's Dad, WAW did the following:
1) The moment I walked in, said "nice shirt".
2) Kissed me as she walked past my chair and said "thanks for talking the other day" - in reference to last Friday night when I accepted her invitation to stop by for a beer
3) Said "do you like my shoes?" and did her best to show off her calves to me. She has incredible legs, but I pretended not to notice and just said "I guess they're nice, not really into women's shoes"
4) After I put my jacket on because I was cold, she rubbed my back to warm me up.
I did not react to any of this anymore than I would if another friend did any of it. I think it drives her crazy when I am truly just a friend. But it works for me.
