Sounds like someone had a busy and productive weekend!
Hey how's your brother doing?

Productive? OK. My brother is still in the sitch he was in a few months ago. It's his life and he has this fantasy that he'll be able to sit down and discuss separating with his wife (who locks herself in her room every night upon coming home) and end this in a friendly manner! We all have our time and when his will come is up to him. Maybe the idea of moving in with mom and dad for a few months while he gets on his feet again is making this situation seem so much more tolerable!
It's so hard to not be convinced that your spouse will be reasonable during the D. Been there, done that. But I'm sure it happens sometimes.

Well, I think you folks will be pleased with Whatis! Wife phoned yesterday and asked if I was coming to her place for Halloween. I said I hadn't really thought about. She said that the kids were asking and seemed to want me to be there (they were with me all week but never mentioned it). So I said I'd come over and asked when she wanted me. She said about 6:00 or 6:30 pm. I said OK. This morning it hit me, why am I going over to spend Halloween with my estranged wife? The oldest was going out with her bf trick or treating and the youngest was going out with her friends. So that means it's me and wife for about 2 hours giving out candy together..I guess. When she came today to pick up the girls I said "I've decided I'll come over about 8:00 pm or so, I'm going to go to the evening church service and then I'll be over" She began saying OK but then starting saying "then I'll be alone, I'm not crazy about D13 being out alone with her friends blah blah blah" I said "I'm sure she'll be fine" So that's what I did. I showed up about 8:00 pm and after checking out the kids costumes and their loot I left around 9:00 pm. The girls said "hey, you only stayed an hour!" I replied "I've got a football game to watch!" So we all said our goodnights. You know, the thought of being alone for two hours or so with wife was not appealing at all! What the heck would we talk about? Who needs it. Also this weekend D16 submitted her Christmas wish list which is hanging on the kitchen fridge...with pictures included. She has about 20 books on her list including "Advanced Civilizations of Prehistoric America"...a must on every teenagers reading list I'm sure! When D 13 looked at the books listed she said "what is wrong with you?" and began whistling and making crazy motions with her hand. D16 says "I think these books are fascinating!" So ends another weekend.
I took a double-take at that, then remembered who you are having the love-affair with wii!! And good for you - betcha get all of your needs met, without even having to explain them out loud!
Have you told her that you are dating someone yet?
It's not just a "someone"! This is special. I feel like I've known this person my whole life. We just seem know what the other is thinking without having to say anything. We are truly are the flesh made one. I just can't wait to see wife's face at Christmas when I show up with myself, it's gonna be awesome. But, knowing her she won't even notice!
Wasn't there a movie about a guy who suddenly starts dating a mannequin? I mean, has her at the dinner table, takes her out and about, etc. The family goes along with it....I don't remember the ending.
