The biblical rules regarding divorce and remarriage are significantly complicated when one considers the audience and meaning behind some of the scriptures. In fact, it appears that there is conflicting comments between scriptures if the origin regarding the audience and specifics for certain books are not considered.
I am avoiding this topic because of the potentially heated nature that it can cause. The importance to me is to follow scripture even when it isn't always pleasing to do so.
