Take this with a grain of salt. Go file for D. Get out of your marriage, and then date to your heart's content. If Professor Plum is willing to wait for you, all the better. But you're having an affair... All the justifications you're using are the same as the WAS we keep reading about.
Question for the board.. and I know there will be so many different viewpoints... What if D is filed already... is it ok to date or not? I know some Ds take YEARS to complete.

I think it's fine to date once you've filed. My W wouldn't date me at all until my divorce was completed, but I had no problems with it either way.
I think it is okay to date as well, but in John's case he should wear a chastity belt
That could be a good thread topic. we have Sandi2's Do's and Dont's list for LBS. We should come up with a Do's and Don't list for dating. I have a few suggestions on that!
What if I told you that I wasn't allowed to pick up a musical instrument in my own home and play it because it "annoys" my W?
Well. I would ask you if "you are a MAN or a MOUSE?" I'm not trying to be mean, BUT Seriously?!?! Conversations like these are critical in establishing RESPECT in a R/M. I would also say by letting her get away with this you have ENABLED her immature behavior for a VERY long time and now you EXPECT her to just stop it.
About refreshing, the new dark axe spray is a chick mag and totally refreshing.

Oh! I have enough material to fill a book or two or three on that topic. I am much more experienced at dating than marriage
All right, someone start a Dos/Donts list for dating during this D thing...
