I have been re-reading this trying to figure out what to say to you.
You will continue to stand, until the pain of standing is more than the pain of leaving.
I know this is hard and I wish he would snap out of it. I know you wish the same thing but that is not the way this works. But I have to think that there is more going on behind the scenes that you can not see.
