I had a simular reaction with my S and H. This past weekend H finally admitted to S, H may never come back. It was a great relief off my S shoulders. The C told H it was selfish to continue telling S it may happen. It didn't allow S feel like his home is stable and secure with our situation. My S's lunch with H was relaxed bc of H honestly with him. That's the sad part, H didn't think about our kids only protecting his relations with the kids. My OS will never forgive H, which means I have to be healthy to show them how healthy people are.
