OK, I will play, and what do you do if your "best friend" is trying to take advantage of you or play you?
I think it all comes down to good boundaries perhaps.
Knowing where you end and somebody else begins, protecting yourself is important, and if all it takes are some tears and tantrums to control you, well... how do you fix that? After all, there is more to love than attatchment and being somebody's servant, eh?
