H pushing Divorce

Well,party was fun. Had a good time watching old movies and doing the voices for the actors. Lol. everyone participated in that and it was quite funny. Watched a 1931 Bela Lugosi movie. Food was wonderful-homemade vegetable soup, finger sandwiches, and desserts of all kind, and mulled cider.

Only two people were party poopers and wouldn't dress up. But we still had a great time.

An interesting thing happened also last eve. I got a phone call from a woman that belongs to same organization as I do. I thought she was giving a courtesy call, as I have not attended meetings in quite some time. I have been NC and H would be at those meetings as well. Only H would be in a different group, but still.

So as I assumed that is why she was calling, I said I would try to come to next meeting. Well, She paused for some time and said she had some bad news. I said, "oh!" SHe says I am going to be in same situation as you...my H walked out on me...moved out in the night. I said, "I am sorry." She thought I was divorced and I said no H had just filed in Aug. The people there didn't know of our sitch. My H had confided to hers I guess.

Her H is having affair with a person from the same org. I was so sad to hear it. She started to tell me about his behavior..how he wouldn't touch her, look at her, talk to her. I said does he cling to the edge of the mattress...she says YEAH! I said ..mmhmmm....say mean things, then seem like himself?...YEAH....blame you for everything?...YEAH. I said could be mlc.

But the kicker was when she was telling me how he must have moved out in the night...and she says...guess who helped him? I said .....Oh don't tell me... My H? She said yes. I was so pissed. Not only does he destroy our family, but he helps to destroy another. It really was awful to hear that. I am going to meet with her in a couple weeks for lunch.

It is like an epidemic...awful. There is so much of it going on.
