He didn't find it a pretty picture to put into his bowel either! Hey, I didn't just do the black licorice, I put away a whole box of Halloween Cupcake Sweeties tonight...in hindsight, I think I should have gone to church.
Sweeties here are the hard sugar-pressed candy that are like concave pills, wrapped in a clear roll of cellophane. You twist the ends to open.... and they are pretty suckish.
It was some kind of cookie with lots of icing, it was hard to see them though as they were stuffed into my face at such a rapid speed. It was cookie genocide, not a pretty sight. I'm sure I'll pay for it sometime during the night...can you say ACID REFLUX!
I like cookies - nothing evil about them (well, except for the anise crap my cousins try to pass off as cookies...there's that black licorice taste again).
Oh, and now-a-days, I sleep with the big bottle of TUMS next to the bed.
Ha! You both make me laugh. Seriously, Wii - I don't recognize those sweeties and I'm Canuck too. I have to agree totally with Donna. I can't stand black licorice or anise "cookies". But red licorice??? Twizzlers - my favourite, well, next to chocolate. No trip to the movies is complete without them along with my popcorn. Had to pass on both this week at movie time, though, as wisdom teeth are giving me so much trouble the drs have ordered me to soft food only until my surgery in 5 days. (UGH)
OK, enough of the Halloween Cupcake Sweeties...I'm grouchy, I think I have a sugar hangover! This afternoon I am taking my D16 out shoe shopping...pray for me. I may be back.
