But your "feeling OK" was a false illusion.

The RIGHT things, the GOOD things . . . often come with initial pain. Push through it.

Like a dope I went shopping with her last night and we had a couple of drinks. She said it was real nice to have no pressure just us enjoying some time together.

Afterwards I dropped her at her door( for 7 weeks I had to guess where she lived ). But when I got home things she said knawed at me. I felt duped. That she threw me a bone to keep me involved. She and I have always enjoyed shopping together but it was diefferent. And when we at the bar her body language was leaning away from me.

I have been a fool and she has played me. I have to change the situation.

what you are providing her with in ample amounts I might add is.... ATTENTION.

She thrives on external validation.

She loves the attention you give her,
she loves denying you the object of your desires.

Ego is not gender specific.

Women can have big ego's also.

Think about the "drug" you are fueling her with.

From her point of view:
"I reject him, I give him a tiny bit of false hope and he hangs there for life, he's always looking at me, he's too easy to control and he's still infatuated with me even though I'm having an affair with another man. I love this power I have over him. I love having the attention of two men, it makes me feel sooooooooo good about myself."

Does she say these exact words in her mind,
no definitely not, but I $hit you not,
this is probably how she feels, she's high on all the attention you're giving her, external validation (her getting attention from you and other men) can be very intoxicating.

Give her a dose of reality.

Stop giving her your attention.

File for legal separation/divorce - whatever the legal process at your end requires.

Start dating other women and have the time of your life.

ATU I don't mean to give you a hard time,
but I would rather be real with you instead of blowing sunshine up your a$$. It's a good education to have and there's a lot to learn. If I'm too hard on you or if you want me to stop participating on your thread, just say the word and I will stop, no worries.

No Robx, this is all good. She has blown me off every W/E and evry Monday calls me for some reason and the dance continues. She must have thought she was losing me some because she has met me twice this week "to talk" and spend some time together.
Has told me BS about her reservations about us fixing things and I told her mine about her cheating.
She said she is feeling more connected to me. HA! Until the weekend comes and she goes with OG and some imaginary friends she told me about.
She told me a doozie last night and I questioned her about it and she was tap dancing. I did not believe it for a second. Thats why when I got home I was feeling very stupid and wondering how she could try to throw that crap ball by me.
Damn heart!!

Robx, would you mind raving on me too?

Hang in there Tossup. This is difficult stuff, but you can get through it. We're all pulling for you. You have to let her go and move on.

She hasn't felt that way in a long time. Do you know why?
