I think that's the standard way to 'fix' these things...

You did not break the trust, she did. While you may be responsible for some things that have contributed to the breakdown in the relationship, it doesn't mean that the two are in any way comparable. If the M takes a path towards reconciliation, then coming to terms with and acknowledging your part will play a role. At this point, it is up to her to earn your trust - and whether you grant it or not is completely your choice.

things are still way too fresh and recent in your situation to assume things have changed for good, keep doing what you're doing and let her be.

I would take a break from the counseling, tell her you've decided you need time to think about what you want now, because you're not sure about anything anymore and just leave it at that.

WOW!

I agree with Arnie, if it rains because of this, it's your fault, I hope you know that!

Well she canceled her Co session Thurs because her job is nuts. She copied me on her email to him.

I am letting her be. Just wish I was not in this house sometimes with all the memories. Mornings are the worst!

Get up early and go for a walk. Walk your dogs if you have any.

That should fix that.

If you don't have any, get some. The best therapy there is.

Do Do Do Do - We had a T-Storm at 4:30 am when we were getting up to go on a long run?!?! We are 18" below normal on rainfall, rained once the past 3 months. Coincidence? Time to check my Nostradamus notes. cool

Retain faith that you will prevail in the end, regardless of the difficulties and at the same time confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.
