I wouldn't worry but I'd be careful. Anytime you are vulnerable and you're dealing with someone else who is in a R (and you are attracted to them), regardless of whether it is a new or well established R, there is the likelihood of problems arising which you do not need at this point in your journey, you've got enough on your plate! Go to the Ball, have fun, say goodnight and "it was fun",then don't ask again. Btw, #2 would have said "I can't but another time would be nice" so I'd move on. You took a shot and good for you!
