lea74, thank you for the insight on female attachment. It just makes dating that much more difficult. I have never been in this situation before in my life. I dated a few girls very short term until about 18. Then I dated a very nice girl for 3 years. We parted ways and my xw came back into my life as a friend at first but I still had feelings for her. We started dating and stayed together until the big D.
Now, I feel like I don't want to be attachted to any one woman because I want to sample the buffet! I just don't like feeling like a jerk when I have to tell them that the attraction is not there.
