I'll have to start looking around again to see what is available. I don't have to rent from him, but it will probably be the best deal I can find. It is a brand new house, with a 2 & 1/2 car garage, on 9 acres of land for $1,100 per month. That is a GREAT deal. Won't be able to find anything even close to comparable.

We live right on the state line between WI and IL so it makes it tougher to find a place. I am only 10 minutes from the school, but if I go any further south, I am out of state, which is a no, no for the court order. I could probably get a waiver on that, but since it is out of the school district, the kids wouldn't be able to take the bus to school.

Unfortunatley, I work 40 miles away in Illinois, so I would have to find some other way to get the kids to school. Right now, their Mom is picking them up at my house because they don't want to ride the bus and she is only working part-time. so she can do it. The new house is only 4 minutes from the current house, so she could continue to do it, but I don't want that to be the solution long-term. She needs to go back full-time and I was hoping they could ride the bus.

I wish that court wouldn't have been delayed. I think there is a chance that after we settle on what child support and maintenance (alimony) will be, she won't be able to afford to live in our house and will have to move out. I can probably swing it until it sells, so I could move back there. Court is on Nov 4th and I am supposed to be out by Nov 30th.

Alternately, I can probably flex my schedule and working locations in order to drop off the kids at school on the days that I have them and work longer on the days I don't.

No worries. I will figure it out. It is just another brick in the wall.

Thanks for all your support guys/gals!!
