... I am starting to feel very unwelcome here. I have submitted a number of posts and only one from yesterday has made it through the process. I see that other members have posts with time after mine get through, and I don't know if theirs take a day or so or not (based on the times it doesn't appear to be so).
I realize that there is a very good reason for moderating every post (indeed, I myself am a moderator on another site), and you are probably very busy given the amount of traffic on this site.
Still, it is frustrating to not know whether I need to just be patient and wait or whether there something in my posts that are not okay. If the former, I'm happy to wait, and if the latter I'm happy to make adjustments, if that is acceptable. I have read and re-read the rules and can't imagine what might be unacceptable in what I have written. Any hint at what I might be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
It is also frustrating to not have a point of contact - creating a thread knowing it will be seen by a moderator seems to be the only way to send any kind of communication like this.
This is a very valuable forum and would very much like to participate.
Hey Arnie, sorry you are having problems. Not sure what you are doing, but any posts I have started have gone on the boards immediately. Are you sure you are hitting the submit button correctly. I am not aware of anything that was stopped by the moderator before it even hit the board.
Are you using foul language? People put stuff on here using language like A$$hole or such.
DanF, Thanks for the welcome. My posts seemed to have finally appeared after a long delay. I kept asking God for more patience, but He told me I'd have to wait for it.
I actually intended for this to be read by the moderator, since I couldn't find any other way of contacting them. The "Contact us" link seemed to point to requesting a DB coach which, while a terrific idea, is not what I was after.
AFAIK I haven't used any foul language (unless you count the joke about a priest, a rabbi, and a chicken ... )
For some reason my posts seem to be taking a long to appear and I was unsure whether I was doing something wrong or not. Since the focus of the forum is so sensitive and there is so much pain, it is completely understandable to have more controls in place to ensure a safe environment for all.
There are a lot of amazing people here and I am so impressed with both the willingness to share as well as the wisdom expressed. It is such a blessing to have such a marriage-friendly site such as this for dealing with the difficulties that seem to come with the territory of a long-term committed relationship.
FYI - A number of people here have reported problems with the board lately. Don't give up. We're here for you.

Thanks NFTP. I'm trying to be patient - in fact, I posted to this thread in response to DanF and Cyrena before yours and they are still not showing. I have no clue when this one will appear. Do you think there's some kind of probationary period for new members or something?
I hope I pass the test, 'cause there are amazing people on this site!
None of my messages from yesterday have appeared yet, although yours have. It is now 7:15 a.m. PDT on Thursday, Oct 14 as I write this. I am still not sure if the long delay is 'normal' or not.
