I changed my xw's name in my phone from her real name to "X cell" and "X work" that bumped her down to the bottom of the list and now I don't have to look at her name either!

I thought of that. My STBX's name starts with B so it's high up. I can't change it though the girls use my phone to call her and know where to look. I won't change it until D11 gets her own phone.

Funny you mention that about feeling for them, CTH. With all of my ex's bs this week, I thought of him as a child having a tantrum, and I wasn't mad at him. Then I actually felt pity for him, bc it would suck to be so miserable all the time. I don't exactly want him singing the praises of ow and his snazzy new life, but at the same time I have compassion for the pain and misery he has put himself in.

Mine still says Dan bc the kids call him on my cell...Nathan chose his ringtone, it is the "Transformers" animated 1980s theme song. Very cool. smirk I had it as "Smile" for a long time until the kids saw the episode of Glee where they sang it and figured out what it was all about (At First, when I see you cry, it makes me smile, it makes me smile... Yeah prob not good for the kids to hear that! wink ) But it is sung in such a sweet way!

**I have also considered Beck's "Loser" song that was big when I was in college (Soy Un Perdidor, I'm a Loser Baby...) wink

My D11 took my phone and recorded a bunch of audio and then assigned audio clips to different callers. STBXW is a special one she picked. "Hey dude, pick up the phone."

It works in reverse. If I hear that audio clip I almost never pick up the phone -- I just let it go to voice mail.

I thought about changing her to STBXW, but if the girls saw it I'd have to explain.

For a while, I had this picture of drama queen appear on my phone. But like Mishka, I changed it before the kids could ever see it.

I do however have a cute funny sounding mad ditty ringtone. It always puts me in a humorous mood when she calls. And my coworker laughs every time he hears it. His comment the other day..."for someone that wanted to divorce you, she sure does call you a lot and since you have kids together it looks like the Ex Wives are forever song is true for you".

A wife lasts only for the length of the marriage, but an ex-wife is there for the rest of your life.

Why were hurricanes usually named after women?
Because when they arrive, they're wet and wild, but when they go, they take your house and car.

A man walks into his bedroom and sees his wife packing a suitcase. He says, "What are you doing?"
She answers, "I'm moving to Las Vegas. I heardladies-of-the-night there get paid $400 for doing what I do for you for free."
Later that night on her way out the wife walks into the bedroom and sees her husband packing his suitcase.
When she asks him where he's going, he replies, "I'm going to Vegas, too. I want to see you live on $800 a year."

Waiting to see if I'm working from home with D11 or going into work. I have tons to do at work, but for some reason I'm back into the no-energy phase.

Not sure why. I've gotten a lot of sleep the past three days after the marathon work session Saturday.

Side note, I looked for fun things to do on my next kid-free weekend and there's a Green Ball to go to. It's a pseudo professional thing for $25 per ticket where the theme is the environment.

Does that sound like something fun enough to ask a date to?
