Went home for lunch. W was watching our daughters since school's out for the day. She had a todo list a mile long, and she was pretty PO'd when I came in. Said she had raging PMS, and everything was going wrong. So I sat down on the sofa and let her fill me in. She told me all the details, I just listened and validated, she got in such a better mood. Made me feel great.

She started showing me all the stuff she had done, she gets really excited when showing her scrapbooking stuff. She bought me a lunch carrier (told her I didn't want a "wussy" one) and she was really happy I liked it. I think I've been a really critical husband in the past.

D8 started being a little sh#t, and that got W fired up again, but by the time I left for work, she was on an even keel.

You radiate calmness that kills PMS.

You are da Man.

Bottle it and get rich.

grin

Has she always warned you about it ahead of time? That is respectful. I used to carry calendar around inside my pocket Constitution.

smile Nice going Pinhead. Now that's connection!

(I'm thinking there'll likely be more chocolate syrup in your not-too-distant future!) blush

Confidence is attractive... Nice to be able to be confident instead of acting confident.

Ahh see yes, you're right. Not to hijack, but just made me think I always think of that as good advice for men; but really should that work for women too then? I wonder how confident I seem to my H sometimes. Anyways. Sorry to interject. Really glad you lead you and your W to such a solid, connecting experience. Yay you!

I remember there was some website that would track it for you and email you a warning when Aunt Flo was due to arrive...

I think confidence is attractive in women. But I'm also a sucker for a damsel in distress. If my W is unhappy, I've always tried to make her happy. Even today, that was my initial motive. Then I realized I just wanted to hear how her day was going.
