Irish and GAG ... you guys made me cry. Thank you ... but don't give me too much credit. I hate this. I hate that their guidance counsellor suggested it was too soon and he chose to ignore that wisdom. But all I can do is love my kids and want the best for them. In this crazy mess the best thing for them is at least another adult who will love them and that they can be comfortable with. Wow, that sucks to put out there. I have so much insecurity surrounding stuff like "what if they like her better" etc ... *sigh* ... it is what it is. And I am the best mom for my kids, period.
I have them tonight ... and they were so happy to see me

girlfriend seriously...you are so f@*king strong. Healthy strong. Your kids are yours period - they know it and you know it. The OW may play a part in thier lives, but she will never replace you in their hearts. The fact that you hope she will be a good to them and they will be comfortable with her just shows me that you are a wonderful soul and I am honored to know you (via the wide world web!)
