Picture this, and a lot of men on this site need to picture this also, there is nothing more insulting than when a woman is trying to walk away to grab on the her ankles and try and hold her back. Making it so she has to drag you along. Occasionally, wrapping your leg around some solid object so she is stuck. Smiling as her heels sink into the soil thinking that will help her.
It won't. Its hurtful and disrespecting and cruel.
However, if you were to say, I understand. Its what you need. I will be fine without you and let them go in the long run you both with have greater success.
