Did you guys know you can now get advance tickets for going up in the Washington Monument (through the National Park service) and reservations for the tour of the Capitol building through their website? The last time I went we had to wait in lines forever in the hopes that we would get a spot. Just some info for you if you go!
I did not know that. I knew that if you had a responsive Congressman, they could arrange *special* tours and such quite easily. Did that.
