Well, after I shared my story someone else shared a bit of hers too. She said that when she separated she realized she didn't have to be sad because she still had the best man of them all, Jesus! She said she felt no sadness. OMG, do I feel like a loser now I just hope it truly was a miracle in her life or somewhere down the road she'll be dealing with stuff and wondering where the heck it came from. I'd rather do a time on the island of Patmos than be spared and get hit by some emotional truck down the road. Hey, speaking of Revelation, as a mental health professional my first thoughts when I read that book are "psychotic break" as I've heard numerous people in real life talk in a similar fashion and we up their meds or hospitalize them. But, John is totally coherent and strings it all together like a sane man would,thank goodness. Patmos...it sounds like something that should be served at a party, doesn't it? "Have you tried that Patmos spread, it's delicious on crackers" Um, time to go.
