Nothing fits

A whole weekend plus went by without the boards and that was just weird! Thank heavens it wasn't when I was crazed and suicidal a couple of years ago! I feel bad for the newbies who were cut off though. The beautiful people I have met on these boards have saved me more times than I can count.

I have something fun and exciting coming up! It's a bit of a stretch financially, but I'm making it work.

I'm taking Marc to Washington DC (finally!) 15OCT-17OCT. It's going to be whirlwind and busy but we are so excited. I got my AirTran tickets free (thank heavens for one perk of the industry that still exists until Southwest takes them over) and a FABULOUS travel agent rate on a 4 star hotel on Capitol Hill (my kid has never stayed anywhere less than a 3 star...spoiled kid!) and all the museums are, of course, free. I hope my foot holds up through all the walking.

FYI - Did you guys know you can now get advance tickets for going up in the Washington Monument (through the National Park service) and reservations for the tour of the Capitol building through their website? The last time I went we had to wait in lines forever in the hopes that we would get a spot. Just some info for you if you go!
