Ouch! Why did you feel light headed and sick from cleaning them though?

I think it is because the reality of it just hits you. I mean I really thought I was going to faint or throw-up or maybe both. I just got done talking to my Dad and he said that the dr probably had to cut more so the scar would be cleaner. It sort of looks like a backwards 7 on my face. I've never dealt with more than one stitch...and that was just last week!

Thanks for being so supportive. So glad I was able to get this done but still trying to get my head wrapped around the whole thing.

Ironically, the more stitches, the less scarring oftentimes. Smaller stitches mean more of them, but much cleaner healing. I have a scar across my cheekbone from going over the handlebars of my bike face-first into a bank of gas meters. Most people can't see it though because the er doc did a great job with the stitches.

The important thing is the cancer is gone and you are healing.

Deep breaths. smile

Oh my kat! That sounds like a horrible experience last night. I'm glad you were able to talk to someone about it and be reassured.

How are you doing today sweetie?

I am doing a good job of resting. Gee who knew I would have to have surgery to do that! Lol. Right before I took my shower though I find a big spider in the bathroom so I had a battle with it before my shower. So wish I could take a bath to just chill in but not until my stitches are out.

I am going to try work tomorrow. Then more resting over the weekend before the stitches come out Monday.

Did you and the spider flick each other with towels? That can be fun.

Would you believe it started out on the bathmat and then I tried to flick it in the toilet but it hopped down and scurried into the corner. Somehow I scarred it enough and it hopped onto the plunger. Ok one more attempt and he jumped down again. I think I actually plunged it into shock or I really killed it. Anyhow it ended up in the toilet and took a water ride, one way out with no stops. Score one for the recovering girl!
